Collection
We have our own drying, storage and processing capacity. The blue poppy seeds can therefore be supplied to us in dry or moist condition, with or without a sales contract. Supply arrangements are agreed in advance.

Purchasing
Van de Bilt zaden en vlas bv purchases lots of blue poppy seed from farmers and traders during the year. Samples are taken and used to establish a sales price before the lots are supplied. The price depends on a number of traits, which include:

• uniform blue color
• seed fineness
• free of difficult to remove weeds
• “freshness”
