Van de Bilt seeds and flax bv has its own processing lines in Sluiskil. The scutched flax is hackled and turned into a homogeneous product: hackling sliver. Our LINIPIANTI production lines can hackle all common qualities (NM15-39), according to customer specifications. This hackling sliver is produced from long fiber, selected by the customer or van de Bilt seeds and flax bv.
Hackled tow
Another product of the hackling process, in addition to sliver, is hackled tow. This hackled tow varies in quality and quantity, depending on the sliver production.
SKAL
The entire hackling installation is SKAL certified for the production of officially recognized, organically produced hackling sliver. If you purchase organic hackling sliver from us, the product will be accompanied by all the necessary official SKAL documentation for further processing purposes.
