FIBER FLAX

Our growers carefully multiply the propagating material. A unique, specially developed pulling-rippling harvesting system guarantees a consistent quality and quantity of flax seed. The seeds are removed from the flax plants at harvest. The seeds do not come into contact with the soil and are fully grown and mature before harvesting starts. Post-harvest the seeds are stabilized and cleaned to remove weed seeds and any damaged/immature seeds. Following an external inspection performed by NAK, the seeds are disinfected and bagged according to customer specifications.

Our seed is tested and certified by the General Dutch Inspection Service (NAK). This certification demonstrates to our customers that the seed complies with stricter standards and criteria than those set by the EU. Our seed is analyzed and tested for quality aspects such as damage and seed borne diseases. The label states information about seed quality. The label also lists the thousand grain weight seed so you can calculate how much seed you need to sow.
